True Lies (Mind Control)

"Man moves in a world that is nothing more or less than his consciousness objectified."
Neville Goddard

There is no direct argument, for the existence of reality. And, I think that says a lot. Why is it, or, rather, how could it be, that the Human rational mind cannot prove the existence of reality to itself?

"For life makes no mistakes and always gives man that which man first gives himself."
- Neville Goddard, The Law: And Other Essays on Manifestation

There is an easy answer, to this, of course. The easiest way to envision there being a divide, is the electronic component, called a DAC. DAC stands for Digital Audio Converter. On one end, it receives analog signals. On the other end, it outputs binary data. And, if you want a computer to produce sound, you need a reverse DAC. It receives a binary data stream, and, converts binary data to analog signal, which can be amplified, and listened to, that sounds like music. However, if you output binary data, directly, to analog signal, the result is noise, static, hiss, humm. No tone, no signal, no hertz, no frequency, no amplitude, etc.

"I AM wealthy, poor, healthy, sick, free, confined: these were, first of all, impressions or conditions; felt before they became visible expressions. Your world is your consciousness objectified. Waste no time trying to change the outside; change the within or the impression; and the without or expression will take care of itself. When the truth of this statement dawns upon you, you will know that you have found the lost word or the key to every door. I AM (your consciousness) is the magical lost word which was made flesh in the likeness of that which you are conscious of being."
- Neville Goddard, Your Faith is Your Fortune

So, clearly, the mind operates in two distinct representations of data. The subconscoous / unconscious mind seems to process information, without conversion: it manipulates, and processes sense information, in it's most primitive format. However, the pre-frontal cortex, the seat of rationality, does NOT process sense information. Within the PFC, sense information has been converted. The signals that flow through this part of the brain, just like our digitally converted Audio, these signals are symbolic, of audio: and, they can contain the data, about the audio, but, they are not audio signals any longer. They have undergone a conversion process. The lower levels of the brain manipulate sense of reality itself, but, the rational part of the mind cannot process information from the senses. It can only process ideas, and words, and symbols, and representations.

"Nothing comes from without; all things come from within - from the subconscious."
- Neville Goddard, RESURRECTION: Imagine Your Dream as Reality, Begin There and Live

This is why, the rational mind cannot prove the existence of reality to itself. Because, all of it's information processing is composed of ideas. And, ideas aren't real. Therefore, there is no possible way to combine them, or stack them, or arrange them, to prove anything about anything.

"Chance or accident is not responsible for the things that happen to you, nor is predestined fate the author of your fortune or misfortune. Your subconscious impressions determine the conditions of your world. The subconscious is not selective; it is impersonal and no respecter of persons. The subconscious is not concerned with the truth or falsity of your feeling. It always accepts as true that which you feel to be true. Feeling is the assent of the subconscious to the truth of that which is declared to be true. Because of this quality of the subconscious there is nothing impossible to man. Whatever the mind of man can conceive and feel as true, the subconscious can and must objectify. Your feelings create the pattern from which your world is fashioned, and a change of feeling is a change of pattern."
- Neville Goddard, RESURRECTION: Imagine Your Dream as Reality, Begin There and Live

So, the next most relevant question, what is a human beings actual relationship to reality? And, the reason that is the next most relevant question, is, because, the desire to know what is real, only manifests chaotically. It is not omnipresent. The desire to know what is real, manifests episodically, or, contextually, or, in strictly deterministic patterns, aka, in one place in a script of events. So, what is happening the rest of the time? Because, to me, that looks like there is only one part of the Human being that asks, like Pilate did, after murdering Jesus: "What is Truth?"

"If a man looks upon any other man and estimates that man as less than himself, then he is stealing from the other. He is stealing the other's birthright - that of equality."
- Neville Goddard

Only the rational mind doesn't know what is real. Only the rational mind can deny reality. Only the rational mind, can ask, what is real? Because, the rational mind does not think, about reality. It thinks, using symbols. And, every other part of the body, thinks, in terms of sense. So, the unconscious mind doesn't even have the capacity to think, in terms of "real" and "unreal." The subconscious, and unconscious mind are processing electrical streams of sense data, with no conversion. So, they are relational, to reality. Their relationship is direct.

"Stop trying to change the world since it is only the mirror. Man’s attempt to change the world by force is as fruitless as breaking a mirror in the hope of changing his face. Leave the mirror and change your face. Leave the world alone and change your conceptions of yourself. The reflection then will be satisfactory."
- Neville Goddard, Your Faith is Your Fortune

So, questions, and desires, can only come from the rational mind. And, the question, and the need to know, represented by the question, "What is real?" can only exist, in the rational mind. And, the rational mind, does not actually want to know reality. It doesn't know what reality is. It only knows it's symbols.

"With your desire defined, quietly go within and shut the door behind you. Lose yourself in your desire; feel yourself to be one with it; remain in this fixation until you have absorbed the life and name by claiming and feeling yourself to be and to have that which you desired. When you emerge from the hour of prayer you must do so conscious of being and possessing that which you heretofore desired."
- Neville Goddard, Your Faith is Your Fortune

So, what the rational mind is actually asking, is, what are my symbols? Are my symbols integrous? Are my symbols real?

"Because of your belief in external things you think power into them by transferring the power that you are to the external thing. Realize you yourself are the power you have mistakenly given to outer conditions."
- Neville Goddard, Your Faith is Your Fortune

Let's return to our analogy, of computers that manipulate music. When a computer manipulates music, it is processing it, in a binary format. The computer is not processing music. It is processing either an 0, or 1. Computers only think, in terms of 0, and 1.

Beethoven looks like this: 011010100110101. Handel looks like this: 0101010101011. Rammstein, looks like this: 0101010101110. So, the computer CAN NOT think, in terms of music. The rational mind cannot think, in terms of reality. The soul can not think, in terms of ideas, or thought.

"To reach a higher level of being, you must assume a higher concept of yourself."
- Neville Goddard, The Power of Awareness

If it has an issue(a function), it's expressed in this format: 010101010111000. And, so, computer manipulate audio signals, using mathematics. After the manipulation is performed, the signal gets sent to a DAC, and, it's converted from binary, into signal.

"I will be” is a confession that “I am not “ The Father's will is always “I AM.” Until you realize that YOU are the Father (there is only one I AM and your infinite self is that I AM), your will is always 'I will be.'"
- Neville Goddard, The Power of Awareness

So, we have our answer. Every part of the body, except for the rational mind, thinks, in terms of reality. Every part, except for the cortexes, is directly relational, with reality.

"All conceptions are limitations of the conceiver."
- Neville Goddard, Your Faith is Your Fortune

However, the cortexes are NOT in relationship with reality. They exist as relationships between symbols. And, even the "relationship" that exists, between symbols, is, itself, a symbol, and, therefore, not real.

"You are already that which you want to be, and your refusal to believe it is the only reason you do not see it."
- Neville Goddard

So, the next most relevant question, then, is, where is it, in the human soul, that a two-way analog, to digital Converter exists? What process, in the soul, is taking symbols, and producing sense? And taking sense, and producing symbols?

"Man fails to do the works of Jesus Christ because he attempts to accomplish them from his present level of consciousness. You will never transcend your present accomplishments through sacrifice and struggle. Your present level of consciousness will only be transcended as you drop the present state and rise to a higher level. You rise to a higher level of consciousness by taking your attention away from your present limitations and placing it upon that which you desire to be. Do not attempt this in day-dreaming or wishful thinking but in a positive manner. Claim yourself to be the thing desired. I AM that; no sacrifice, no diet, no human tricks. All that is asked of you is to accept your desire. If you dare claim it, you will express it."
- Neville Goddard, Your Faith is Your Fortune

Where is the bridge, between the rational mind, and it's symbols, and the rest of the body, and it's sense? Where is the translator? Who(which part) is the go-between? Where is the intermediary?

"Sleep conceals the creative act while the objective world reveals it. In sleep man impresses the subconscious with his conception of himself."
- Neville Goddard, Feeling is the Secret

Who(which part) is creating relationality between the two completely dissimilar, totally unlike systems? Where is the translator, that converts digital to analog, and analog to digital,  Where do the symbols come from? Which part takes sense data and spews out symbols, that the PFC understands and can work with?

"Here is a simple formula for successful fishing. First decide what it is you want to express or possess. This is essential. You must definitely know what you want of life before you can fish for it. After your decision is made, turn from the world of sense, remove your attention from the problem and place it on just being by repeating quietly but with feeling, “I AM.” As your attention is removed from the world round about you and placed upon the I AM so that you are lost in the feeling of simply being, you will find yourself slipping the anchor that tied you to the shallows of your problem; and effortlessly you will find yourself moving out into the deep."
- Neville Goddard, Your Faith is Your Fortune

However, there is another place, in the Human Soul, where there can be a lack of reality. You see, the subconscious mind, is the limitation, of how much of reality you can become aware of. Attention, and conscious awareness, in Neville Goddard analogies: they are the net. And, reality is the fish. However, the only things which may be real, to you, aka, that you can be consciously aware of, and attend to, you are limited, to only experience what you know the pattern of. So, if you have never experienced love, and you have no impressions, of love, and, no symbolic representation of love, then, no matter where you cast your net, it will never end up containing something you Don't know how to catch. If you do not have the pattern, written, inside of you, you will never identify the reality, when it is outside of you. You do not cast out a net (attention) because you do not know there is anything to catch.(experience)

So, in a very real sense, whatever people have not experienced yet, is not within the realm of possible experiences they can have, yet. So, the subconscious, unconscious mind, when IT wants to know what is real, it is asking the question, what have I never experienced? What is missing, in all of my experiences? What ELSE is there? What is left, BESIDES what I already know of and can and do create? What ELSE can I create? In other words, "I am creating what i hate. Is there any other possible creation, other than this, the only one i know of?"

"Imagination and faith are the secrets of creation."
